Growing up as a competitive dancer in Denver, CO, Emily dreamed of becoming a professional dancer. At the age of 20, she moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she spent close to a decade performing in various shows on the renowned Las Vegas strip. Alongside her stage career, she climbed the corporate ladder, eventually becoming an operations manager at a credit card call center, where she gained expertise in Customer Service, Collections, Loss Prevention, and Compliance.
In 2004, Emily returned to Denver, embarking on a new chapter that included raising two wonderful children, embracing roles as a dance mom and a lacrosse mom, training as a massage therapist, and establishing her massage practice in 2013.
After years of dedication to building her client base and specializing in medically-focused massage therapy, Emily fulfilled her dream of opening her own Med Spa in Centennial, CO in January 2021. Currently, she finds fulfillment as a Business Coach and Sales Trainer, guiding independent contractors in the Beauty and Wellness sector to manage and run their own businesses.
She believes wholeheartedly in advocating for rape prevention education in all levels of schools as well as volunteers as a rape trauma counselor. In 2021 she competed for and won the title of Miss Colorado for America, a division of the Mrs. America Pageant wherein she was able to use this platform to volunteer and promote her time and voice to this important endeavor.

To participate in one of the Mrs. America Organization divisions you can be married or single (including never married, divorced, or widowed), must be over the age of 18 with no age limit, U.S. citizen and ready for an incredible journey with like-minded women who are changing their communities. Many ladies participate to make a difference with an issue or cause, often times their participation is to celebrate a milestone or goal, and the majority of the time ladies have never participated in a pageant before.

A Pageant Girl?
No No Not Me...
I would have never thought in a million years that I would ever compete in a pageant. When people hear the word PAGEANT, there are often negative thoughts and connotations associated with the functionality of the event and purposes, as well as the women that are competing within.
However, if you were given the opportunity to know and understand the innerworkings of the Mrs. and Miss Colorado for America pageant, it is my assertion you would change your mind. This pageant is much more than just a collection of women on a stage in dresses and swimsuits. It is an organization of elite women with diverse backgrounds, varying ages, all shapes and sizes, and who are all experiencing very similar and in some cases very different journeys. Women who have overcome many obstacles and still have some dreams that they want to chase after.
For me, at first it was to prove to myself and my teenage kids that you should always jump in and have faith that you can do anything at any age. But it was the dream to model, to be a mentor to women in business and in their personal lives, and a public speaker in my community and as a survivor, I advocated and always will advocate for rape prevention education in our schools.
I wholeheartedly believe that entering and ultimately winning this pageant gave me not only the pathway to do these all of these things but, the confidence to take the leap required to even begin trying to accomplish all of my “bucket list items”. I am grateful to be part of this very elite organization here in Colorado.
